The Black Shark 3 Features
The Black Shark 3 mobile has a 6.67-inch FHD + OLED display, while the Black Shark 3 Pro has a 7.1-inch 3120 x 1440 OLED display. Both devices have a 90Hz image refresh rate, 270Hz touch sampling rate, and a seemingly low 24-millisecond delay. It will be hard to test – but we’ll take a shot!
There are four pressure-sensitive “zones” in this display panel for individual physical input for games. This will be an interesting set of odds to test, to be sure.
This set of graphics and touch capabilities will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 inside. There will be 5G connectivity, a “4th-generation liquid cooling” system and two separate battery sizes. The non-Pro model has a 4720mAh battery inside, while the PRO has a 5000mAh battery, both of which have 18W charging with a proprietary magnetic charging port, or 65W charging speed via USB-C.
The Black Shark 3 Pro has a physical shoulder button, with a non-PO version. These are called “master buttons” and these are some of the first physical shoulder buttons we’ve seen on Android devices of course after the Sony Xperia Play (PlayStation Phone).
The Black Shark 3 has a rear camera, 64MP + 13MP + 5MP (main, ultra-wide, depth) and a front-facing 20MP camera. This phone has a pair of front-facing speakers for stereo sound.
A standard 3.5mm headphone jack on the Black Shark 3 lets the user plugin wired headphones like a civilized human. Has USB-C for charging and data transfer, UFS 3.0 storage tech and LPDDR5 RAM fully efficient.
The Black Shark 3 & 3 Pro Release Date & Price:
Black Shark 3 will be released on March 3, 2020, and Black Shark 3 PRO will be published on March 10, 2020. One or two will be released worldwide “in the near future”. Prices in China will be priced from 3,499 yuan for the 8GB RAM / 128GB internal storage model (non-PRO) – which translates to roughly $500. The Black Shark starts at 4,699 yuan (about $675 USD) for a version with 3GB of 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Most affordable Black Shark 3 Pro will come with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB internal data storage. This version will cost 4,999 yuan, which is about the US $715 – and the final, real, real US dollar price is undecided at this time.
