Honor 30S Set to launch confirmed for March 30

The Chinese phone maker, Honor is about to launch a new smartphone, the 30S. The device will first be launched in China on March 30, the company revealed via an official Weibo post. The announcement comes after rumors have been circulating over the past few days about the Honor 30S launching later this month.

The phone is set to launch in China and is expected to make its way to the international market later. At present, very little information is shared about the phone through official channels.

This teaser features a slight and only hint on a phone with a dance-less and bezel-less display. In addition to these, leaks have revealed a bit about the device in the past. According to the leak, the Honor 30S can support a Kirin 820 5G chipset, four cameras in the rear setup, and 40W fast charging.

Earlier, the Honor was spotted on the 3C mobile certification site in China, with this listing listed that the phone will support 5G. Fast charging support for phones With 10V and 4A power configurations it is advisable to watch devices support 40W fast charging speed.

The list further claims that there will be a Kirin 820 5G SoC under the hood. In the case of the phone design, the leaked renderings show that the quad-camera setup on the device will be placed inside a rectangular module in the upper left corner of the back panel.

Three of the four will be cameras perpendicularly, while the middle cam will have a fourth snapper (possibly a TUF sensor) and an oval LED flash. Renders also show a side-mounted fingerprint scanner used by Honor for the device.
