Infinix Hot 9 to Quad Camera Setup Confirmed & Launch on March 23 in Indonesia.

Infinix Mobiles, owned by Transsion Holdings, is reported to have launched a new handset called Infinix Hot 9 in the Indonesian market. This new phone is the successor to Infinix Hot 8, which you know you are already selling in India. Although we do not know most of the specifications of this phone, we can collect some information around it thanks to a few photos published on the Infinix Indonesia Twitter page and their website.

Infinix’s Hot series is always known to feature multiple cameras on the back, and Hot 9 seems to feature the same. From the rear panel photos, it is clear that the handset has got a quad-camera setup on the back. This is a definite upgrade over Infinix Hot 8’s triple rear camera setup. From the photos, it is clear that the phone gets a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. And yes, the handset also gets a single LED flash for low light view.

INFINIX HOT 9 Features

While we don’t know a lot about this phone yet, we can minimize some things by looking at some of the features of the 6.5-inch HD + 20: 9 drop notch display towards its predecessor – the Hot 8. This phone also used an IPS LCD panel.

From an online listing in the Indonesian e-commerce portal Lazada where the phone will be sold exclusively, it looks like the Infinix Hot 9 will have a huge 5000 mAh battery. The list also confirms that the Infinix Hot 9 mobile will come with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It remains to be seen whether the device gets an upgraded processor compared to its predecessor, which is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset.
