The Oppo Reno 3 Pro has been launched in India. The new Oppo phone, which was released in China late last year, comes with a twin version of the Reno 3 Pro, a dual-hole-punch selfie camera and a quad rear camera setup. The smartphone has been advertised as capable of capturing images up to 108-megapixels. Oppo Reno 3 Pro uses artificial intelligence (AI) based algorithms to automatically turn on the Ultra Dark mode when illumination is less than 1 lux to capture clean photos in dark environments. Oppo mobile has provided an in-display fingerprint sensor on the Reno 3 Pro. Further, the Oppo smartphone offers up to 256GB of onboard storage. The Chinese company also announced the launch of the Oppo Kash as its financial services platform similar to the Realme phone Paysa that the Oppo spin-off brand launched last year.

Oppo Reno 3 Pro comes with a Hyper Boost feature to provide an enhanced gaming performance with the ability to respond quickly to messages while playing various games. The phone has camera-centric features such as multi-frame compositions, AI-based noise reduction, and an Ultra Night selfie mode. Additionally, there are video bokeh, video zoom and AI beauty modes for video recording.
Oppo has provided its proprietary Salop Smart Video Editor to Reno 3 Pro to allow users to edit and share their videos on social media channels. Further, the Oppo phone comes with a certificate for its display at the TIV Rheinland, to reduce blue light emission and provide an upgraded low-brightness strobe flash-free experience.
In terms of specifications, the dual-SIM (Nano) Reno 3 Pro runs Android 10 with Color 7 on the top and has a 6.7-inch Full-HD + (1080×2400) Super AMOLED display: 20: 9 aspect ratio and 91.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. The display panel has a dual hole-punch design, which is the opposite of the single-hole-punch design released on the Reno 3 Pro in China. Under the hood, the mobile phone has an octa-core MediaTek Helio P95 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM. The newly unveiled MediaTek SoC is demanding a six percent improvement in quality compared to what we get on the MediaTek Helio P90. There is also support for features like gaming HDR / PG, low display latency and AR avatar.
For photos and videos, the Reno 3 Pro has a quad rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an F / 1.8 lens. The rear camera setup includes a 5-megapixel telephoto shooter with F / 2.2 aperture and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter with a 119.9-degree view field (FOV). It also has a 2-megapixel mono sensor with a pixel size of 1.75 microns. Rear camera setup supports up to 5x hybrid zoom and up to 20x digital zoom. The smartphone has a dual selfie camera setup with a 44-megapixel, depth sensor with an F / 2.0 lens and an F / 2.0 lens with a 5-megapixel primary sensor.
The Reno 3 Pro has 128GB and 256GB onboard storage. Connection options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, GPS / A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone also has a Hiding Fingerprint Unlock 3.0 fingerprint sensor and features Hi-Res audio support along with Dolby Atmos. It also packs a 4,025mAh battery that works with Bundle 30W VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 technology to provide faster charging.

The Oppo Reno 3 Pro in India has been priced at Rs. 29,990 for the 128GB storage variant, while its 256GB carries the price tag on the storage option. 32.990. Both variants come in Aurora Blue, Midnight Black and Sky White color options. Oppo will start selling the Reno 3 Pro in India with 128 GB of storage options from March 6, though the sale date for its 256 GB storage variant has not yet been released. Pre-orders for the 128GB model are already live in the country.
